Meghan is a New York state licensed acupuncturist with national board certifications in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is certified in clean needle technique by the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (CCAOM). She is currently obtaining a doctorate in Chinese medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine where she earned a masters degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine, a four-year intensive program involving 3500 hours of education and 900 hours of clinical training.
Her acupuncture experience includes work at Columbia University Health Services, Mount Sinai-Beth Israel Integrative Oncology, Housing Works, and Pacific College Wellness Center. She travelled to China to study abroad at the International Acupuncture Training Center, an institute recognized by the World Health Organization, and completed clinical rounds at the Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Beijing.
Meghan is a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine and a member of the American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AAAOM) and the Acupuncture Society of New York (ASNY). She continues to deepen her skills and knowledge in Eastern medicine by attending advanced trainings so she can provide the best service to her patients. Her own healing successes with acupuncture created a passion for women's health with special interests in treating gynecological disorders and fertility support, digestive disorders, stress and anxiety relief, and emotional and spiritual balance.
Beyond Eastern medicine, she enjoys studying other forms of healing to help patients overcome blockage and initiate change in their lives. She is certified in Reiki I & II and offers astrological consultations following many years of study and mentorship.
